The UPCE Language Centre offers a four-week intensive course of Czech for beginners to Ukrainian citizens. The courses are intended for children as well as adults.

Successful completion of the A1-level course will be confirmed by a certificate. The course takes place every workday.

Registration for the course is done via e-mail to Ms Libuše Paseková-Jelínková on the address libuse.pasekovajelinkova@upce.cz.

We are pleased to invite you to a seminar „Learning Research Ethics Promotes Scientific Integrity“ held on 28 April 2022 from 2 to 3 PM in English language. Find more about the seminar.

„Learning Research Ethics Promotes Scientific Integrity“

Date: 28.4.2022

Time: from 2 to 3 PM

Number of participants is not limited, registration is required. Registration form can be found here.

The seminar is part of the mentoring programme. You can attend the event even if you do not participate in mentoring.

The room will be specified before the seminar according to the number of participants.

The seminar will be held in English language.

Lecturer of the seminar will be Carlos H. V. Melo from Charles University where he teaches scientific writing and presentation skills and is an in-house editor at the Chemistry Section. Carlos is a PhD in Neuroscience, with a background in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Find more about Carlos.

The International Office is delighted to host 2 presentations about career and study opportunities in Europe on Monday 11 March at the Language Centre, DB 01002.

From 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mr. Jáchym Hercher, policy officer at the European Commission, will talk about career oportunity in Europe. It will be held in Czech and English.

From 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. the Alliance Francaise and Campus France will give – as they did in 2017 and 2018 – a presentation of study programmes in France followed by a tasting of French food.

These 2 events are both for our international and Czech students, academic and non-academic staff.
